Responsibilities
Functions as part of the management team, performing a variety of clinical and administrative duties related to clinical staff management and patient care
Duties may include quality monitoring, patient assessments, direct patient care, and patient/caregiver/staff education
Provides safe, therapeutic, efficient quality care and services to all patients served
Functions as a member of the health care team at an intermediate nursing level to assist in the planning and implementation of patient care based upon sound nursing judgment, clinical preparation, knowledge, skills and experience
Nursing care is provided in accordance with the provisions of the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing
May be responsible for the clinical functions of more than one practice with the oversight of a Registered Nurse
Qualification
Required
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) certification
Experience in clinical and administrative duties related to clinical staff management and patient care
Ability to perform quality monitoring, patient assessments, and direct patient care
Knowledge and skills in patient/caregiver/staff education
Ability to provide safe, therapeutic, efficient quality care and services
Intermediate nursing level experience
Understanding of Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing provisions
Ability to assist in the planning and implementation of patient care
