Responsibilities
Serve as the subject matter expert for our Salesforce application, providing advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving to resolve complex issues quickly and effectively
Conduct a comprehensive review of the current Salesforce application to identify root causes of existing issues and recommend solutions
Establish and document clear, comprehensive development and deployment standards, including but not limited to:
Code review and quality assurance guidelines
Naming conventions for custom objects, fields, and code
Security and data access best practices
Develop and implement solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and other Salesforce technologies
Create and maintain detailed documentation for all development and administrative processes
Provide mentorship and guidance to the junior Salesforce developer, fostering a culture of continuous learning and adherence to best practices
Work collaboratively with business stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, and deliver high-quality, scalable applications
Stay up-to-date with the latest Salesforce releases, features, and best practices
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
5+ years of hands-on experience as a Salesforce Administrator or Developer
Proven ability to troubleshoot and solve complex issues in a production environment
In-depth knowledge of Salesforce administration, including security models, data management, and user management
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and mentoring skills
Architect and build complex business automation using Salesforce Flow Desired 5 Years
Proven experience with Salesforce DevOps processes and tools for code management and deployment Required 5 Years
Expertise in Salesforce development technologies, including Apex, Visualforce, and LWC Required 5 Years
Proven Salesforce rescue and incident management experience triaging Sev1/Sev2 issues Required 5 Years
Must possess active Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Administrator)
Preferred
Experience with Salesforce DevOps tools (e.g., Salesforce DX, Copado, Gearset)
Experience in a small IT team environment
Salesforce Application Architect or System Architect certification
Automated testing and quality gates Desired 5 Years
