Responsibilities
Support assembly and test operations within a manufacturing cell
Work with robotics, automated and semi-automated equipment
Partner with operators, supervisors, maintenance, and quality teams to maximize efficiency and quality
Train new operators and provide on-going technical support
Monitor operations and troubleshoot issues in real time
Collaborate with senior engineers on new programs, process improvements, and special projects
Become highly skilled in complex operations such as CNC winding, resistance welding, and injection molding
Qualification
Required
Depending on Education and Experience, this position can be filled by an Associate Engineer, Technician or Assistant Technician
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
At least some electrical or electronic knowledge and aptitude
Manufacturing experience
Conscientious, detail-oriented, and able to work in a team-based environment
Interest in Continuous Improvement and Lean manufacturing practices
