Responsibilities

Guide major roadway and surface transportation projects with senior-level insight and technical expertise
Oversee delivery of complex roadway projects, managing scope, schedule, budget, and quality
Identify and secure new opportunities, focusing on Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT), Seattle Department of Transportation (SDOT), King County Metro, and other public agencies in the Pacific Northwest
Develop trusted, long-term partnerships with clients, agencies, and teaming partners across Washington, Oregon, and the broader Pacific Northwest region
Collaborate with regional and sector leadership to align business development efforts with broader strategic goals
Lead or support compelling proposals and presentations that highlight innovation, expertise, and a client-first mindset
Mentor and support junior and mid-level staff, fostering a collaborative, inclusive, and growth-oriented team culture

Qualification

Civil Engineering DegreeWashington State PE LicenseRoadway Project ManagementDesign-Bid-Build DeliveryDesign-Build DeliveryClient Engagement SkillsTeam CollaborationCommunication Skills

Required

Bachelor's in civil engineering
Active Washington State PE license (or ability to obtain one)
12+ years managing and delivering roadway projects, especially with WSDOT, City of Seattle SDOT, King County Metro, and other regional agencies
Deep familiarity with Washington State design manuals, standards, and project development processes
Strong communication, relationship-building, and client engagement skills with a proactive, solutions-driven mindset
Team-oriented leader who thrives in cross-functional environments and models integrity in all decisions

Preferred

Experience with both Design-Bid-Build and Design-Build project delivery methods
