As a Boots Fountain Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of beverage dispensing equipment, ensuring smooth operations and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Install beverage dispensing equipment at customer locations, ensuring proper setup and functionality
Perform regular maintenance, including inspections, cleaning, sanitizing, and part replacements, to ensure optimal equipment performance
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues related to beverage dispensing systems, providing timely and accurate solutions
Play a key role in maintaining smooth operations by being available for occasional evening and weekend support
Instruct customer personnel on the proper operation and care of equipment, ensuring efficient use
Serve as the onsite contact for all technical issues, delivering professional and effective support for customers
Build and maintain strong professional relationships with customer accounts to ensure satisfaction with service and product quality
Occasionally deliver products to customer locations, ensuring timely and efficient service
Order necessary parts for repairs and maintenance, ensuring an adequate supply is maintained for timely service
Manage tools, spare parts, and supplies, ensuring they are well-organized and properly stocked
Monitor equipment performance and ensure beverage quality meets company standards
Maintain detailed records of all installations, maintenance, and repairs, including parts used and services provided
Work closely with the sales team and fellow technicians to coordinate service schedules and address customer needs
Follow all safety protocols when working with electrical, mechanical, and refrigerant systems to ensure a safe work environment
Perform other job-related tasks as needed, demonstrating flexibility and a strong team-oriented mindset

Required

Must be 18 years of age or older
High school diploma or equivalent required
Knowledge of refrigeration, plumbing, and electrical systems as they relate to beverage equipment
Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing components
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to customer locations
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics
Experience using hand and power tools, with knowledge of plumbing and water filtration systems
Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindset
Ability to lift and carry heavy packages (up to 50 lbs), bend, twist, and stand for extended periods
Strong safety awareness and commitment to safe work practices
Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation of work performed
Must be able to pass a drug test and background check
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a positive and professional attitude
Ability to work independently and as part of a team to complete assignments within given instructions and parameters
Strong work ethic and willingness to contribute to team success

Preferred

3 to 5 years of experience working with soda fountain machines, refrigeration, or similar equipment preferred
Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) integration and calibration of beverage systems
