Responsibilities
Ship new features in a large, mature React Native application used daily by millions
Debug and fix tricky issues with the help of remote instrumentation and strong problem-solving instincts
Build and maintain platform-native modules to make the app feel smooth and responsive across iOS, Android, and web
Collaborate closely with designers and other engineers to refine flows and polish interactions
Contribute to the open-source ecosystem around Bluesky and the AT Protocol
Qualification
Required
strong programming fundamentals and software engineering skills
deeply experienced with Typescript (5+ years)
shipped React Native apps to iOS, Android, and web
care about UI/UX quality and sweat the details
worked across the full stack (frontend and backend)
built motion-rich interfaces (gestures, animations)
intuitive understanding of how people use social apps
thrive on small, fast-moving teams where you can own big pieces of work
excited to help shape the future of social networking
Preferred
previous experience working at startups or on social media products
