Packaging Engineer Intern
Graco manufactures and markets premium equipment to move, measure, control, dispense and spray a wide variety of fluid and powder materials. As a Packaging Engineer Intern, you will develop cost-effective packaging solutions and provide support for production processes while collaborating with engineering teams.

Responsibilities
Provide general production support for machining and/or assembly areas by participating in hands-on troubleshooting issues and providing technical assistance
Troubleshoot shipping damage claims to determine how to resolve issues
Consolidate and document WIP packaging used within manufacturing
Assist in the designing of and implementation of packaging solutions:
Research and suggest ideas for ways to improve packaging for existing products while working with cross functional engineering teams
Create packaging specifications using AutoCAD
Load and update specifications within manufacturing database
Load and maintain packaging components within manufacturing BOM’s
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled and pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering
Minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to work independently and as an effective team member
Mechanical aptitude and desire for hands on work

Preferred
Experience with CAD software such as AutoCAD
