Responsibilities

Supporting component (e.g., flight computer) testing
Conducting system analyses
Analyzing test and vendor data
Verifying requirements
Coordinating with component vendors and the NASA customer
Writing reports
Resolving issues
Working with other C&DH engineers to develop the system and ensure the design meets requirements

Qualification

Aerospace avionicsData exchange protocolsSystems engineeringPythonMATLAB

Required

Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Computer Science or related field
Minimum three years of experience with aerospace avionics, such as flight computers and data routers
Ability to obtain a DoD secret clearance
Must be a U.S. citizen

Preferred

Knowledge of data exchange protocols, such as MIL-STD-1553, RS-422, and Ethernet
An understanding of the internal operations of computers and routers
Ability to write scripts in Python and/or MATLAB
Experience with the systems engineering and integration process, from requirements development through product deployment
Active DoD secret clearance
