Engineer I - II (Project Manager)
The State of South Dakota is seeking a Project Manager within the Department of the Military. This role involves managing construction projects, ensuring compliance with regulations, and coordinating with various stakeholders to facilitate project design and construction.

Responsibilities
Utilize AutoCAD software to develop construction plans for smaller projects within a wide variety trades
Manage design and construction of capital improvement projects ranging from $100K up to $30M+
Review and recommend approval of construction plans and technical specifications
Ensure construction plans and technical specifications comply with Federal and State regulations, codes, and standards
Provide construction observation and inspection of building projects to ensure compliance with construction plans and technical specifications
Coordinate with other engineers, consultants, and various stakeholders to facilitate participation in project design and construction
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's of Science degree in Engineering (Civil Engineering or related field)
Valid driver's license
Must pass a National Security Check
Attach resume, college transcript, and cover letter outlining the reason for pursuing a Project Management position
