Responsibilities
Collaborate with project team members, clients, contractors, and technical experts on project-related matters
Utilize tools such as Bluebeam Studio, Excel, SpecLInk, and MS Word for effective communication and documentation
Ensure quality assurance throughout all phases of the project
Manage projects from preliminary engineering to final design, construction documents, and field inspection
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
A minimum of 10 -15 years of relevant experience in commercial facility design, including lighting, power distribution, fire alarm systems, and IT infrastructure
Familiarity with current codes and LEED principles
Strong project management and business development experience is a plus
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook for effective calendaring and communication
Highly organized, adaptable, and self-sufficient, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to travel for local and regional projects as needed
Exceptional interpersonal skills, enabling professional interactions with a diverse range of personalities
Creative problem-solver, capable of researching various concepts and developing innovative solutions to complex challenges
Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team, with minimal supervision
Preferred
Florida Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred
Proficiency with AGI photometric software, EasyPower or SKM power system software, or similar tools is preferred
Experience in power distribution and process controls within water and wastewater treatment plants and pump stations is highly desirable
Experience with AutoCAD and Revit is advantageous
