They are seeking Composite & Fabrication Specialists to be involved in the complete development life cycle, working closely with engineers to build and test custom fixtures and assemblies.

Responsibilities

Work with structural, mechanical, and RF/electrical engineers to build, and test custom fixtures/assemblies

Work independently from design prints, drawings, documents, and verbal instructions

Analyze design risks, anticipate, and mitigate risks when possible, and report concerns to supervisor

Read and understand blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions

Work with power tools, hand tools, paint equipment

Operate autoclaves, ovens, and other large equipment

Work with calipers, micrometers, scales, and other devices to verify conformance to design requirements

Maintain a clean and orderly work area

Perform tasks associated to composite manufacturing, such as: cutting, kitting, mold release application, vacuum bagging, grinding/sanding, repairs, and bonding

Able to adapt and function well in a dynamic work environment

Work efficiently in an environment without the need for regular, direct oversight
