Responsibilities

Deliver engaging course content for both undergraduate and graduate students, ensuring alignment with departmental and institutional goals
Prepare course materials, assignments, and assessments, fostering a challenging yet supportive learning environment
Provide academic support and guidance to students
Collaborate with department faculty to review and update curriculum materials as needed to reflect current industry trends
Utilize various instructional methods and technologies to support a range of learning styles and backgrounds
Participate in department meetings and contribute to curriculum planning and development initiatives
Other duties as assigned

Required

Minimum of a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Computer Science, Statistics, Manufacturing, or a closely related field, along with relevant professional experience, an equivalent degree, or equivalent professional experience
For teaching graduate and post-baccalaureate courses: A doctorate degree in the same or a related field
Strong foundational knowledge in industrial and systems engineering or related fields
Proficiency in delivering course content on manufacturing, supply chain management, computing, or specialized topics like sustainability and AI
Demonstrated ability to communicate complex concepts clearly, both verbally and in writing
Effective use of instructional technology and innovative teaching practices

Preferred

Demonstrated commitment to excellence in teaching
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience in teaching at the college or university level in industrial engineering, operations research, computer science, statistics, manufacturing, ergonomics, or a related field
