The role involves ensuring the smooth operation of critical safety and monitoring systems across campus through preventive maintenance and hands-on installations.

Responsibilities

Conducting routine and preventive maintenance inspections on: Life Safety Systems, Fire Detection and Suppression Systems, Security Systems, CCTV (Closed-Circuit Television) Systems, Equipment Monitoring Systems, Other miscellaneous electronic systems and subsystems
Installing, maintaining, and modifying fire detection and suppression systems, Life Safety equipment, card access systems, CCTV , and equipment monitoring tools
Responding to repair requests and troubleshooting issues with various electronic components to ensure systems operate at peak performance
Coordinating with other teams and vendors to guarantee timely inspections and installations

Qualification

Security systemsCCTV systemsFire alarm systemsProblem-solvingCollaboration

Required

High School Diploma or completion of GED
Experience working with security systems, and CCTV systems
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot electronic systems
Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, contractors, and vendors

Preferred

Knowledge of safety codes and regulations related to Life Safety systems is preferred
Experience working with fire alarm systems
