Exposed to a variety of projects and topics including plant breeding and improvement, propagation, tissue culture, and plant production
Specific duties include transplanting, maintenance of tissue culture projects, plot maintenance, flow cytometry, container production, data collection etc
Participate in independent research projects, field trips, and attend relevant conferences
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in a 4 year, undergraduate plant science program or are a recent graduate
Valid driver's license
Preferred
Possess a strong interest and background in horticulture, plant materials, research, and plant breeding
