They are seeking an intern in Accounting and Finance to support the Accounting Team with various accounting duties while gaining exposure to the fundamentals of construction accounting and process improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities
Gain exposure to Accounting/FP&A/Project Accounting
Learn and embrace the fundamentals of construction accounting
Welcome the exposure to accounting in a publicly traded company
Participate in process improvement initiatives using workflow/Power BI/excel
Determine what tasks can be automated and/or made more efficient using current technology
Qualification
Required
Current enrollment in an associate's or bachelor's degree program related to Accounting or Business
Have a GPA of 2.9 in relevant coursework
Take reasonable care of your own and others' health and safety and of those who may be affected by the day-to-day delivery of this role by taking personal responsibility for working toward Mastec's Injury principles
Excellent interpersonal, oral and written skills
Team Player
Ability to prioritize tasks and handle numerous assignments simultaneously
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism
High attention to detail
Proficient in Microsoft Office and internet applications
Ability to interact with clients, managers and employees with a high level of professionalism
