As a civil engineering intern on the Rail Traffic and Public Projects team, you will engage in hands-on work, assist with project design, perform research, and collaborate closely with experienced engineers on various tasks.

Responsibilities

Perform meaningful, hands-on, real-world work that will transform your classroom experience and help you envision your future career

Be part of a team, working for our clients on projects with our most experienced engineers

Involved in a variety of tasks including basic project design through CAD drafting, performing research, and writing technical reports

Travel to job sites for observation as needed

Assist with traffic and preemption analysis/design

Perform site visits

Assist with plan or study preparation

Work closely with others on complex projects

Qualification

Required

Strong communication skills

Ability to contribute and work well on a team

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook

Pursuing a degree in civil engineering

Preferred

Working knowledge in Synchro is a plus
