Temporary Internship Program Assistant
North Carolina State University is seeking a Temporary Internship Program Assistant to support the coordination of summer internships for the Center for Environmental Farming Systems. The role involves recruiting interns, planning logistics for professional development, and assisting with day-to-day activities of the interns.

Responsibilities
Supporting with the overall coordination, including logistics, administration, planning professional development and evaluation of the summer internships for the Center for Environmental Farming Systems
Internship recruiting
Planning and coordinating logistics or professional development
Tracking and documenting activities
Assist with paying farmers
Support interns with day-to-day activities as needed
Qualification
Required
Recently graduated or graduating in May from a 4 year college or university with a degree in Agroecology or Agriculture Education or similar field
Enthusiasm for local foods and a respect for farmers and producers from diverse rural communities
Must be strong communication skills with experience in agriculture education
Must hold a drivers license and have access to transportation to the host site
Valid driver's license
Preferred
Ideal candidate will have participated in an internship in the past
A resident of NC and ideally in the Triangle
Experience with technology and online platforms
Good communication skills and self-motivated
Knowledge of, or experience working with agriculture students
Personal laptop use preferred
