Electrical Engineering Spring 2026 Intern
Reditus Space is seeking a highly motivated Electrical Engineering Intern to support the ENOS mission, their flagship effort to develop reusable reentry vehicles for microgravity research and in-space manufacturing. As part of the engineering team, the intern will contribute to the design, integration, and testing of electrical systems critical to spacecraft operations.

Responsibilities
Support design, analysis, and prototyping of spacecraft systems
Assist in development and testing of power subsystems, including solar arrays, batteries, and onboard power conversion/distribution
Collaborate with software and GNC engineers to integrate flight hardware and ensure system-level compatibility
Conduct schematic reviews and board bring-up under senior engineer guidance
Participate in hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) and environmental testing campaigns
Document design iterations, test results, and troubleshooting procedures
Qualification
Required
Undergraduate or graduate student in Electrical Engineering or related degree (e.g. Computer Engineering)
Strong foundations in circuit design, embedded systems, and rapid prototyping
Experience with ECAD tools (e.g. Altium, KiCAD) and lab instrumentation (e.g. oscilloscopes, logic analyzers)
Effective communicator and team collaborator in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment
Preferred
Familiarity with spacecraft power systems, SMPS design, electrical harness design, or radiation-tolerant electronics is a plus
