Responsibilities

Design and implement secure, scalable Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments including host pools, session hosts, application groups, and FSLogix profiles

Automate deployments and operational tasks using PowerShell and infrastructure-as-code tools to improve efficiency and consistency

Monitor performance, usage, and cost metrics to optimize resource allocation and enhance end-user experience

Troubleshoot and resolve AVD-related issues (connectivity, latency, profile errors, application failures) with a focus on root cause analysis and continuous improvement

Apply and manage security controls such as RBAC, Conditional Access, and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) to ensure compliance and data protection

Provide Tier 2/3 support for escalated issues, demonstrating advanced troubleshooting and communication skills

Develop and maintain SOPs to guide Tier 1/2 support teams, ensuring clarity and adherence to best practices

Collaborate with internal teams to align tools, processes, and standards, promoting knowledge sharing and teamwork

Communicate technical concepts effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders, adapting to evolving technologies and business needs
