Responsibilities

Assist physicians in performing complex interventional cardiovascular and electrophysiology procedures, including stent placement, pacemaker insertion, structural heart cases, and STEMI interventions
Operate advanced fluoroscopic, ultrasound, and hybrid imaging equipment while managing devices, contrast agents, and supplies to ensure safe and effective procedures
Adhere to strict radiation safety and quality control standards while serving as a resource for training and mentoring staff and students
Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to deliver compassionate, patient-centered care and support seamless procedural flow

Cardiac catheterization experienceRadiologic Technology certificationBasic Life Support (BLS)Fluoroscopy PermitCardiovascular anatomy knowledgePatient-centered careTeam collaborationMentoring skills

Required

High School Diploma, High School Equivalency (HSE) or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate required
Graduate of an ARRT approved school of Radiologic Technology required
1 year of experience in a cardiac catheterization lab required
Annual demonstration of proficient cath lab radiologic technologist proficiency required
Knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy and arrhythmia recognition or completed the basic arrhythmia course and passed the exam within 12 month of hire required
BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required
CRT - State of California Certified Radiologic Technologist required
CRTFP - State of California Radiologic Tech Fluoroscopy Permit required
ARRT - American Registry Radiologic Technologists required
