Adjunct Faculty - AutoCad/Engineering

Responsibilities

Demonstrate excellence in teaching, commitment to integrating new technologies in the learning process
Inspire, motivate and empower students to succeed
Use Brightspace and integrate technology in the classroom
Create an effective learning environment that fosters students’ intellectual curiosity and helps students to problem solve using discipline-specific thinking strategies

Qualification

AutoCADTeaching experienceCAD certificationBrightspaceInterpersonal skills

Required

Bachelor's degree and national/industry recognized certification in appropriate technology, such as Computer Aided Design (CAD) or Building Information Model (BIM) and experience
Previous teaching experience in AutoCAD is required
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with diverse group of staff and students

Preferred

Knowledge of the Brightspace Learning Management system preferred
Experience with a diverse, multi-lingual student population is desired, as is a commitment to the open access mission of the community college
