Qualification

FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot CertificateCommercial Pesticide Applicators LicenseDrone flight software proficiencyAviation regulations knowledgePrecision Agriculture knowledgeWork in dynamic environmentBasic aviation safety knowledgeProblem-solving skillsAttention to detailCommunication skills

Required

FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate, equivalent certification based on local regulations or be able to obtain the certification within the first 30 days of employment

FAA Class 2 medical exam and/or obtain one within 30 days of start of employment

Commercial Pesticide Applicators License or must be able to obtain within first 45 days of employment

Proficient in drone flight software and navigation systems

Strong understanding of aviation regulations and safety procedures

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Background knowledge in the following areas: Precision Ag, in-cab monitors, Farm Management Software, and/or past drone flight experience

Class A CDL license or must be able to successfully complete the Entry-Level Driver Training (ELDT) when required

Ability to work long seasonal hours in changing weather conditions

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

Basic knowledge of aviation safety regulations and agricultural best practices
