Responsibilities

Lead, prepare or review detailed design deliverables such as calculations, reports, models, permit applications, construction drawings and specifications
Advise project teams on technical issues, perform deliverable quality reviews, assist with annual performance evaluations, support the professional development of junior engineers, assist with reporting project status and responsible to deliver elements of design within the project schedule and budget
Coordinate interdisciplinary design elements with other task leaders and/or group managers
Utilize modeling software applications for efficient design and coordination
Enhance client relationships as it pertains to our water resource capabilities
May assist with staffing and business development
Mentor engineers and designers within the group, both locally and throughout the Greater PA area

Qualification

Water resources engineeringProfessional Engineer (PE) licenseWater resources design softwarePennDOTCommunication skills

Required

Bachelor's degree in Civil and/or Environmental Engineering plus six (6) years of relevant water resource engineering experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Professional Engineer (PE) license
Experience with water resources design software (Microstation In-Roads, Microstation Open-Roads, StormCAD, HydroCAD, Pondpack, HEC-RAS)

Preferred

8 years of relevant water resource engineering experience
Experience with PennDOT, as well as the PA Turnpike, PADEP, DelDOT and other agencies is highly desired
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
