XMSTART is always looking to add experienced and strategic full-time Systems Engineers to our team. The role involves analyzing user needs, developing system architectures, integrating components, and ensuring systems comply with industry standards and security measures.

Responsibilities

Analyze user needs and system requirements
Develop system architectures and specifications
Integrate hardware and software components to create functional systems
Install, configure, and test system components
Develop and maintain documentation, such as technical specifications and user manuals
Ensure compatibility and interoperability of systems
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues
Implement updates, patches, and upgrades as needed
Optimize system processes to improve efficiency and reliability
Work with cross-functional teams, including developers, network engineers, and project managers
Communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Provide training and support to end-users
Ensure systems comply with industry standards and organizational policies
Implement security measures to protect system integrity and data

Required

Active TS/SCI with Polygraph is required
Technical experience with Intelligence Community (IC) analytic tools
Familiarity with system development lifecycle (SDLC)
Experience with systems integration and configuration
Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Python, Java) and scripting
Proficiency in operating systems (e.g., Windows, Linux) and network protocols

Preferred

Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
