They are seeking a Virtualization Engineer to support government activities by designing and building virtual environments, implementing process improvements, and ensuring the technical integrity of their systems engineering responsibilities.

Responsibilities

Design and build virtual environment service models including Infrastructure-as-a-Service and Platform-as-a-Service

Identify, design, and implement process improvements for the virtualization of and distribution of applications: automating manual processes, optimizing delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability Designs, implements, and maintains VMWare vSphere virtualization infrastructure, including ESXi hosts, vCenter Server, and vSAN

Analyze user's requirements, concept of operations documents, and high-level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications Incorporate new plans, designs and systems into ongoing operations

Develops system architecture and system design documentation Interacts with the Government regarding technical considerations and for associated problems, issues, or conflicts

Responsible for the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables associated with the Systems Engineering area of responsibility
