Responsibilities
Assist with operation of drill rigs on geotechnical and environmental projects
Support the Lead Driller with equipment setup, drilling operations, and site cleanup
Handle and transport drilling tools and materials
Perform manual labor and lift heavy equipment and samples (up to 50 lbs)
Maintain a clean and organized worksite
Follow all safety procedures and protocols
Accurately complete field documentation as needed
Travel to job sites across the region (primarily field-based work)
Adapt to varying start times based on project location (typically early morning)
Work 8–10 hour days, with weekly hours ranging from 40 to 60 depending on workload
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or GED required
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions and around heavy equipment
Strong work ethic and reliability are a must
Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
