This entry-level, field-based position involves assisting the Lead Driller and conducting subsurface investigations with on-the-job training provided.

Responsibilities
Assist with the operation of drill rigs on geotechnical and environmental projects
Support the Lead Driller with equipment setup, drilling operations, and site cleanup
Handle, transport, and maintain drilling tools, materials, and samples
Perform physical labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized worksite
Follow all safety procedures, protocols, and PPE requirements
Accurately complete field documentation and logs
Travel to job sites across the region (majority of time spent in the field)
Adapt to varying start times based on project location (often early mornings)
Work 8–10 hour days, with weekly hours typically ranging from 40–60 hours depending on workload
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or GED required
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work
Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions and around heavy equipment
Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn
Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
Interest in fieldwork, construction, geotechnical, or environmental services
Current authorization to work in the United States
