Responsibilities
Develop a strong working knowledge of foundry technical operations
Manage key projects in support of improved foundry throughput, cost efficiency, and technology upgrades
Support daily operations with problem definition, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation
Performs other related duties related to Manufacturing Engineering:
Project Management
Capital Prioritization & Tracking
Engineering Tools (ie, PFMEA, Equip Qualification, Capacity Analysis, RCFA, etc.)
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Foundry or Industrial Technologies, Materials Science, Metallurgy, Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering
Relevant work experience
Preferred
Team player with excellent written and communication skills
Capital Project Management aptitude/ experience
Ability to work independently and adapt to change quickly
Effectively problem-solve and deliver high quality results
Open to new challenges and business environments
Ability to translate strategic direction(s) into actionable and demonstrable results
Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
Familiarity with modeling software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Magma, etc
