Full Stack Developer II, P2, Associate
Morgan Stanley is a leading global financial services firm providing a wide range of investment banking, securities, investment management and wealth management services. They are seeking a Full Stack Developer II to design, develop, and support applications for their Wealth Management Technology division, focusing on delivering high-quality solutions in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities
Collaborate with team members to understand the business problem to develop solutions
Participate in design discussions, whiteboarding the solution and effectively communicating the designs to other team members
Develop software solutions in a lean-agile methodology to bring the solutions quickly to the partners and improve, optimize, and repeat in an accelerated development cycle
Take accountability in the delivery of the solutions within the deadline, adhering to the company's compliance and development standards
Create technical documentation for the product, business user guide, and other runbooks both for managing the applications and to onboard new users easily
Research and learn new technologies quickly and work in parallel balancing the ongoing tasks, research tasks, production support, and mentoring others
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Engineering, preferably Computer Science/Engineering
Extensive hands-on experience in design, development and implementation of complex software system and applications utilizing Java 1.8 or higher & modern UI frameworks -Angular
Hands-on development experience in writing REST APIs with sprint boot
Strong working experience in relational databases such as DB2/SQL Server etc
Hands on experience with modern distributed technologies such as messaging brokers (e.g. Apache Kafka)
Experience in container platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes
Familiar with version control systems like Git/GitHub/Bitbucket
Familiar with build tools like Gradle and CI/CD tools like Jenkins, TeamCity etc
Experience and very good understanding of Design Patterns
The ability to write reusable, optimized, maintainable code that is well documented and follows industry-standard best practices
Good problem solving and analytical skills
Experience working in Agile development methodologies
Preferred
Working Knowledge of building applications in the Cloud
Working Knowledge of Unix/Linux and/or any scripting language
