They are seeking a PCBA Manufacturing Engineer to provide technical expertise and troubleshooting assistance regarding Surface Mount Technology (SMT) and Plated Through Hole (PTH) equipment, while ensuring optimal machine performance and production quality.

Responsibilities
Collaborate with engineering teams/Customer to optimize SMT processes, including solder paste application, component placement, reflow profiles, and quality control procedures
Analyze production data to identify trends, potential issues, and areas for improvement
Develop and implement process improvements to enhance production efficiency and yield
Respond to technical inquiries from operators, engineers, maintenance personnel and Customer regarding SMT equipment malfunctions, process deviations, and component placement issues
Assists/Lead diagnosing problems through analysis of error codes, machine logs, and visual inspection, identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions
Provide remote troubleshooting support via phone, email, and remote access tools
Conduct on-site troubleshooting and repairs as needed, including adjustments to machine parameters and component placement settings
Execute written and/or verbal instructions given by Supervisor/Manager and monitor efficiency and quality of assigned routine tasks
Demonstrate work methods and equipment operation to new hires
Report results of assigned tasks
Assist/validate tooling and fixtures
Assist/Lead in the configuration of our MES system for components, Routes, Assemblies, Work Orders, etc
Create Manufacturing Instructions using Valor, Power Point, Word, Excel or other applicable programs
Create and expand component library for Valor using the VLM module
Assist/Review the creation of DFMs and DFTs
Prepare reports for the Customer
Interact and represent Hyve with Customer
Create Pick and Place programs for Juki
Create Pick and Place programs for Fuji
Create Screen Printer programs
Create Press-fit programs
Create SPI programs
Create AOI programs
Create AXI programs
Create Selective Solder programs
Create SMT reflow oven profiles and obtain acceptance by responsible engineer
Create PTH wave/selective solder profiles and obtain acceptance by responsible engineer
Create programs for depanelization equipment
Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues
Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety standards
Follow standard operating procedures and quality control guidelines
Qualification
Required
Understanding of electronics or manufacturing processes
Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely
Good communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, production-oriented environment
Minimum High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent work experience
Proficient computer competence
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English to the degree necessary to perform the job
Proficient at reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, bills of material, etc
Preferred
Preferred minimum 2 years of working in a manufacturing or inspection environment
Preferred IPC-A-610, IPC-A-600, IPC 7711/7721, J-STD-001 experience
Preferred knowledge of components and their polarity, including resistors and capacitors
