The Screen Printer, or Press Lead, is responsible for operating machinery with a safety-first mentality, ensuring the quality of printed products, and leading the team effectively to meet production goals.

Responsibilities
Operate machinery with a safety-first mentality continuously
Positive shift starts with thorough communication with the team you are working with for the day
Taking full accountability for the quality of the product coming off the press
Responsible for meeting KPI’s and expectations provided
Ensure you, your team, and anyone near or around your machine are aware of and respect the workspace equipment to avoid accidents or injuries
Always offer exceptional support to your press operators to exude growth potential for your team and yourself
Practice and enforce safety training topics while operating or using machinery
One will be expected to load, unload, and register all jobs per day
Ensure every order is printed correctly and on time, every time
Communicate effectively with Team members to obtain job status and quality of work while maintaining production goals
It is essential to ensure the workstation is clean and organized every day
Clean and grease the press according to maintenance logs
Log all data and print techniques per job on the platform
Report all issues/errors to leadership and log any issues
Proof all jobs with the leadership team before production runs
Communicate with team members about any issues that can cause quality errors
Responsible for reaching and overcoming their MAS (minimal acceptable standard)
Responsible for a smooth shift transition by communicating effectively on the job at hand and preparing for the next team
Consistently demonstrates the utmost professionalism to all employees while leading the team to success
Independent problem-solving while communicating issues with the Leadership
Checks garments before printing to ensure everything matches the Press Instructions
It is your responsibility to keep track of counts per size per job every time and communicate proactively to avoid issues down the line
Communicate with leadership when setting up a photo approval job, including a specific time frame
Keep Track of press approval time to make adjustments, take-downs, etc
During approval wait times, you are responsible for keeping busy: help others, prepare your next job, and clean your machines
Qualification
Required
Experienced screen printers who want to keep their craft sharp
Determined beginners ready to learn the art of screen printing from the ground up
People who want a part-time hustle or a flexible, creative outlet
Reliable team players with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn
Weekend morning shift availability is required

Preferred
Previous screen print knowledge or experience is highly preferred

Able to be flexible in altering positions due to workflow needs
