Responsibilities
Evaluating, planning, and designing projects for water, wastewater, and stormwater treatment and conveyance which encompasses pipelines and pumping facilities
Assessing, developing, and supporting the management of sustainability and resilience projects including conducting vulnerability and mitigation assessments, as well as planning and designing utilities, municipalities, and cities
Performing essential fieldwork activities such as conducting field site visits, collecting samples, performing water quality analyses, evaluating technologies, and gathering plant operations information
Troubleshooting processes and optimizing operations
Support for asset management projects by conducting data analytics, operational and organizational assessments, condition assessments, and overall performance evaluations of water, wastewater, and stormwater facilities
Supporting preparation of reports, presentations, and other audio-visual materials, and participating in client meetings
Ensuring project compliance with all Arcadis practices and quality, health and safety standards, and facilitating coordination for timely completion and submission of projects on time and budget
Working independently and as part of a team, with the flexibility to accommodate collaboration with team members across the U.S. and internationally
Learning and using digital tools to enhance customer experience, team and client collaboration, and project delivery including configuration and deployment of SharePoint, Building Information Modeling (BIM), Power BI, and Augmented Reality
Qualification
Required
Pursuing a BS in Civil, Environmental, or Water Resources Engineering, or another closely related academic discipline
Knowledge of engineering concepts, theories, and practices related to water/wastewater/stormwater
Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Preferred
Prior internship or coursework in water/wastewater, water resources, or related sectors
