InternPatel, Greene and Associates (PGA) is seeking a motivated and curious STEP Intern to gain hands-on experience while contributing to transportation engineering projects. Interns will work alongside staff on real project design tasks, exploring various facets of the transportation industry.

Responsibilities
Gain proficiency with construction plans production
Understand the concepts of geometry design
Understand the development of pay item quantities and calculations
Understand the process for development of a project cost estimate
Effectively research projects and assist with marketing efforts
Gain knowledge in all design standards, manuals, and criteria
Requires regular technical supervision of tasks by technical or senior staff
Complete tasks and projects within established supervisor’s expectations
Support technical and senior staff with the development of plans, documents, and reports
Compile documents in PDF for review or submittal
Qualification
Required
Enrolled in an ABET Accredited Engineering Program
Reliable form of transportation is required
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Great verbal communications skills and the ability to interact with a variety of personality types
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards in all work efforts
Ability to work independently and as part of a team on deadline-driven activities
Skill in working with Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and other Office Products
