Responsibilities
Teaching assigned classes adequately in the delivery method (in-person or online) offered by delivering course content to students
Preparing course materials and lesson plans
Grading student work
Providing students with robust feedback in a timely manner
Addressing student questions consistent with university, college/school, and department policies
Providing online or in person academic support to students as needed and appropriate for the teaching assignment
Providing instruction in assigned classes consistent with the content and learning objectives of the regular course syllabus
Adhering to department course coordination and Lead Faculty Model policies
Maintaining office hours
Complying with university-wide student evaluation of instruction policies and peer observation policies
Qualification
Required
Juris Doctor degree, plus a minimum of two years of experience in legal areas relevant to social work practice, OR
A Master's in social work from a CSWE Accredited Program, plus a minimum of two years of relevant post MSW experience, OR
A Master's degree in related field, plus a minimum of two years of post master's experience related relevant to social work
Preferred
Master's of Social Work (MSW) degree from a Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) – accredited institution
Five years of relevant post MSW or related master's degree experience
PhD or ABD
Doctoral level course work in one or more content areas
Two years of teaching experience relevant to one or more content areas
Previous experience in teaching in an online environment
Experience with diverse, historically underrepresented and/or first-generation college students
