International Tax Senior Associate
Grant Thornton is a leading professional services firm, and they are seeking an International Tax Senior Associate to deliver U.S. international tax services for clients across various industries. The role involves supervising and mentoring associates, reviewing complex business returns, and advising clients on international tax matters.

Responsibilities
Providing international tax services that provide measurable value and advising clients from a range of different industries on international tax matters
Supervising, training, and mentoring associates and interns on international tax projects and assessing performance of associates for engagement reviews; performing in-charge role as needed
Reviewing complex business returns with international complexities and making recommendations on return preparation regarding accuracy and tax savings opportunities; gain increasing responsibility in the review process
Researching and analyzing international and domestic tax issues; utilizing tax-related software to prepare and process returns and research tax matters
Writing and reviewing tax advice for clients
Responding to inquiries from the IRS and other tax authorities
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
Minimum two years' experience of progressive tax consulting, preferably with at least one year focused on international taxation
Experience with a large accounting firm, law firm, or corporate tax department of a multinational company
Advanced analytical, technical, and tax accounting/technology skills with proficiency in U.S. tax compliance and consulting
Ability to supervise staff and lead projects
Exceptional client service skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain outstanding client relationships
Computer expertise including knowledge of tax software and technology
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Can travel as needed
Preferred
CPA or JD/active law license preferred
