Responsibilities
Design and specify medium- and low-voltage switchgear, switchboards, motor control centers (MCCs), and related power-distribution equipment for commercial, industrial, or utility projects
Perform load calculations, short-circuit, arc-flash, and coordination studies to ensure system safety and code compliance (NEC, IEEE, NFPA 70E)
Prepare detailed drawings and documentation including one-line diagrams, wiring schematics, equipment layouts, and bill of materials
Provide technical support during manufacturing, installation, and commissioning of switchgear and associated protection and control systems
Conduct site inspections to verify proper installation, witness factory and field acceptance tests, and generate punch-list reports
Qualification
Required
Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or related
5+ years EE experience
Switchgear experience
Active EIT or PE License
