Responsibilities

Review current processes and share recommendations to streamline and/or enhance policies and procedures
Support and motive audit and senior staff, as well as review work to ensure accuracy
Ensure client understanding and provide frequent updates on the progress of engagements, problems, and resolutions
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of audit policies and procedures and educate the team on any updates to processes
Manage and maintain billable hour budgets and address any concerns with over/under concerns
Lead multiple accounting, auditing, and client engagements efficiently and with accuracy
Research and identify complex issues and come up with/recommend creative solutions
Other miscellaneous tasks and supervisory duties as directed by firm partners

Required

5+ years of recent audit experience at a public accounting firm
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or a similar discipline
CPA license preferred
Experience with leading the audit process from planning to execution
Demonstrated success in the development of new business and extended service opportunities with both existing and prospective clients
Strong and effective analytical and problem-solving ability
Proven leadership skills, ability to train, mentor and guide Audit Associates
