Responsibilities
Setting the technical direction for the architectural in collaboration with other senior technical resources
Developing strategic plans to accomplish technical as well as business objectives in partnership with leaders across various Oracle business groups and customers
Drive innovation through advancement of OCI data services
Management responsibility over multiple software engineering teams
Building high performing geographically distributed engineering teams through hiring and coaching
Establish and implement engineering strategies that align with applicable standards and regulatory practices
As a Director Program Management of the software engineering division, you will apply your extensive knowledge of software architecture to manage software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications, operating systems and databases according to provided design specifications
Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and envision future improvements to the architecture
Qualification
Required
10+ years of professional software development experience with an advanced degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering
5+ years of professional experience in Cloud Operations/Cloud Infrastructure Engineering preferably in a multinational organization
5+ years of experience leading and developing engineering program focused teams
Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence Experience
Experience in managing large teams, and engineering managers
Passion for fixing problems with curiosity
Strong analysis and reporting skills with attention to detail and accuracy at the senior executive level
Ability to collect, organize, and display data in consumable format
Able to meet quick turnaround times in a fast-paced environment
Experience in working across business units and with cross-functional collaboration
Embrace and adopt to quick changes

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
