Verification of all work performed being in accordance with plans & contractual specs
Measurement & verification of quantities, dimensions & specifications
Act as a liaison between VDOT and prime contractor
Qualification
Required
Valid driver's license
Available for night work, OT and/or weekends as needed
Capable of working independently and within a team
Subject to background check
3+ years of transportation construction experience, ideally within the State of Virginia
Preferred
Experience with paving, roadway and bridge construction inspection and records keeping
Required certifications preferred but class enrollment for certifications will be made for candidates with applicable construction inspection experience
