Senior Procurement Engineer

Responsibilities
Drive/Support Supplier Identification and down selection
Drive/Support completion of Supplier Audits and Technical Evaluations
Drive/Support completion of NDA/PIA negotiations
Lead Request for Quotation (RFQ) package creation (i.e., draft SAP requisition for RFQ including all technical and quality requirements)
Lead Supplier Design Proposal / Compliance Matrix review meetings
Create the Manufacturing and Process Plan estimates for use in design option selection or validation of cost and schedule
Execute Supplier Oversight Quality Assurance (QA) Technical Witness and Hold Points
Support the project management team to interface with Supplier Quality support organizations
Create Agendas and Lead Kick-Off meetings with Suppliers
Conduct regularly scheduled meetings (e.g., bi-weekly, weekly, etc.) with Supplier and Westinghouse Project Support Team Members
Manage/Drive Westinghouse Project Support Team Execution
Manage execution of required Supplier QA Witness and Hold Points
Hold pre-job briefs and/or kick-off meetings for important/critical PO manufacturing activities
Drive/Support Purchase Order (PO) Change Notices
Provide periodic Project Schedule Updates
Provide periodic Customer Status Updates
Ensure all required Supplier PO scope is complete, including fabrication, testing and documentation
Ensure the Westinghouse Quality Release (QR) has been completed to support shipment
Ensure the QR and associated Quality Assurance Data Package (QADP) have been archived in PRIME
Send QR/QADP to the site or customer (as defined by the project) after it has been archived in PRIME to aid in receipt and turnover of equipment
Work with Westinghouse Logistics to arrange for shipment. Complying with applicable procedures and standards and ensuring all standards and processes are adequately described in Level 2 and 3 procedures
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree or higher in Engineering
Minimum 4 years of relevant experience, preferred in the Power Generation or Nuclear Industries but could be in any of the following industries: Oil & Gas, Pipelines, Refineries, Offshore Oil Production Platforms, Ship Building, Manufacturing Plants, Supply Chain, etc
Willingness to travel to support emergent project issues/supplier development
Preferred
Knowledge of programming software is a plus but not required
