Responsibilities
Uphold the Biblical priorities and core values of Beulah Church, demonstrating a growing personal relationship with Christ
Reflect integrity in words, relationships, and actions, modeling a strong relationship with spouse and children (if applicable)
Live out a life of faith that inspires others to pursue their purpose in Christ
Lead the coordination and execution of Sunday morning worship gatherings in collaboration with pastors and ministry leaders, ensuring services reflect Beulah’s vision, values, and goals
Work closely with the tech and media team to plan and integrate elements such as lighting, sound, cameras, and livestream for a seamless worship experience
Foster an environment that encourages congregational singing and active participation in worship
Build and develop a diverse worship ministry team, including vocalists and instrumentalists, representing a cross-section of the congregation
Mentor and train musicians, including youth learning instruments, to grow their skills and contribute to the worship band
Foster spiritual and musical growth among team members, aligning them with Beulah’s mission and vision
Lead worship team rehearsals, currently held on Wednesday evenings (with potential flexibility to adjust based on team needs)
Ensure rehearsals are well-organized and prepare the team for impactful Sunday worship
Manage a database of worship ministry volunteers and resources, including scheduling through Planning Center Services
Collaborate with church leadership to plan budgets, facility needs, and resources for the worship ministry
Participate in regular staff meetings, worship planning sessions, and an annual staff evaluation process
Qualification
Required
A vibrant and growing personal faith in Jesus Christ, with a passion for leading others in worship
Alignment with Beulah Church's doctrinal statement, the Baptist Faith and Message, and our mission to live out the Gospel
Proven experience leading a band and worship team in a modern/contemporary worship setting, with the ability to engage the congregation in singing and worship
Experience or interest in mentoring musicians, including youth, to develop their instrumental and musical skills
Strong organizational and communication skills to manage teams, schedules, and coordination with the tech and media team
A collaborative and teachable spirit, eager to work with staff, volunteers, and leadership while growing in ministry
Availability to work part-time hours, including Sunday mornings, Wednesday evening rehearsals (with potential flexibility), and occasional special events
