Associate Mechanical Engineer
McKinstry is innovating the waste and climate harm out of the built environment and creating lasting impact. They are seeking an Associate Mechanical Engineer to join their Engineering and Design division, where the role involves project management and technical contributions to ensure successful project delivery.

Responsibilities
Contribute to the successful delivery of projects across various offerings, verticals, and clients
Act as the project manager and lead/senior engineer on a wide array of projects
Collaborate with internal and external partners to develop and deliver best-in-class designs
Assist with strategic initiatives within the Engineering & Design group as assigned
Participate in all phases of project planning and execution to ensure seamless delivery
Prepare comprehensive proposals that align scopes of work with client needs and budgets
Lead sales efforts with internal and external clients for engineering work, including developing engineering fees & writing proposals
Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with customers to support project and business success
Manage staffing for slate of projects and coordinate with other associates for appropriate resources
Qualification
Required
Ten (10) years experience
Professional Engineering License
Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline required or equivalent work experience required. Onsite construction experience considered and welcome
Preferred
Five (5) years of experience in 2D/3D Auto CAD and/or Revit preferred
Knowledge of other CAD/BIM tools welcome
Familiarity with IES-VE, HVAC load calculation software and/or other software tools welcome
