Purchasing and Sourcing Senior Analyst (Bilingual in Korean/English)
SBT Global, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Purchasing & Sourcing Senior Analyst who is bilingual in Korean and English. The role involves supporting stakeholders through effective procurement strategies, accurate reporting, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure timely sourcing of products while maintaining communication with both domestic vendors and the parent company overseas.

Responsibilities
Communicate with purchasing team and product management teams to identify and prioritize items in need of procurement/sourcing
Strive to understand the market and conduct market research when necessary
Establish materials and purchasing plans and carry out purchasing work through affiliates and non-affiliates
Procure and manage supporting materials purchased through affiliates and non-affiliates
Create business reports that provide insight into key data points after analysis and collection
Synthesize internal and external information sources, including ERP data, competitor communications, and market research, to identify behavioral patterns and strategies and develop recommendations and actionable insights
Communicate data analysis results to managers in written and verbal form and provide suggestions based on results
Key reporting on a weekly/monthly/quarterly basis
Develop annual sales plans by analyzing market trends, competitor activities and economic factors
Analyze metrics and design reports to help the company make important business decisions
Provide competitive analysis of market offerings from various companies and identify market trends, pricing/business models, sales and operating methods
Communicate, liaise and collaborate with the parent company located in Korea and develop plans to refine strategies and analyze business proposals
Understand the new product development process and effectively improve internal communication within the project
Fulfills special project requests from the CEO, internal/external executives, and other departments
Assist and support internal and external team members, management and customers
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the industry, related industries, markets, products, competitors, customers, etc
Build effective working relationships with team members and outside vendors
Ability to multitask and adapt to changes in workload, assignments and priorities to meet deadlines Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
Utilize inventory planning and forecasting to determine optimal stock level projections
Identify specific items that pose potential urgency and communicate with vendors and internal teams to expedite shipments
Collaborate with other departments to provide usage and stock projection reports to project future inventory needs
Qualification
Required
5-7 years of experience in purchasing/sourcing
Analytical techniques that enable the development of data-driven report
Intermediate: Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook
Ability to solve problems and provide analysis
Ability and willingness to learn and maintain technical product information and sales procedures
Strong customer service and communication skills to effectively connect data with colleagues and outside vendors
Works overtime as needed and as requested to complete job duties
Bilingual in Korean/English
Preferred
Native proficiency in Korean is strongly preferred
Bachelor's degree or related degree in business, marketing, finance, or related field
Experience with CRM and SAP Resource Management programs
Familiarity with water heater/boiler/HVAC field a plus
