The Director of Golf Performance Programs & Innovation will be responsible for shaping the future of the company's instructional business by creating innovative products and programs that inspire golfers of all levels.

Responsibilities
Design and launch diverse program offerings such as signature tech-guided block practice modules, 'zero-to-golfer' starter packages (lessons, equipment, analytics), synchronized leagues across markets, and high-intensity boot camps with pro-level instruction
Develop remote-coaching models and a 'player performance passport' that unifies simulator and on-course data into comprehensive performance plans
Pilot, measure, and refine concepts using clear KPIs and data-driven insights
Create loyalty tiers and experiential rewards (e.g., access to Callaway Tour experiences) to turn members into brand advocates
Design client-as-influencer programs that recognize and reward network expansion
Elevate Five Iron’s reputation in golf instruction through proprietary digital content, earned media placements (Golf Digest, Golf Channel, leading podcasts), and marquee coach casting
Train the next wave of 'screen-native' coaches who blend tech expertise, elite instruction, and Danny Meyer–level hospitality
Develop marquee instructor-affiliate programs, guest-coach events, and co-branded content with top golf brands
Explore distributorship opportunities for premium, scarcity-strategy accessories and a 'remote club' model that provides members with access to select green-grass clubs worldwide
Collaborate with Operations, Technology, and Marketing to ensure seamless go-to-market execution and scalable delivery of new products
Serve as the senior voice for innovation across the Golf Performance business while influencing shared services teams without direct reports initially
Qualification
Required
7–10+ years in product development, program innovation, or experience design in sports, hospitality, or consumer tech
Proven track record of bringing concepts from ideation to profitable, scalable launch
Fluency in customer-centric design, analytics, and go-to-market strategy
Strong leadership presence and ability to inspire coaches, partners, and high-value clients
Golf knowledge is a plus; passion for creating exceptional, tech-driven experiences is essential
