Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain the integrity, security, and availability of large-scale cloud-based Big Data systems

Implement and optimize distributed processing workflows across the Hadoop ecosystem (e.g., HDFS, MapReduce, Spark, Hive)

Perform performance analysis, tuning, troubleshooting, and monitoring of cloud and data processing environments

Contribute to back-end data processing, analysis, and indexing to support high-volume, mission-critical applications

Develop and implement policies and best practices to ensure the security, scalability, and reliability of cloud-based systems

Evaluate and integrate COTS/GOTS and open-source tools into cloud environments to improve performance and reduce development costs

Support the software lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment
