Mid-Enterprise Account Executive, Financial Services

The Mid-Enterprise Account Executive for Financial Services is responsible for driving sales growth within the financial sector by selling SoundHound's AI solutions, managing key account relationships, and collaborating with various teams to ensure successful market strategies.

Responsibilities
Drive sales to meet and exceed revenue targets in the financial services sector
Manage relationships with key accounts and stakeholders, contributing to high-impact deals
Deliver presentations to executives, demonstrating value in member satisfaction, engagement, and operational efficiency
Execute a land-and-expand strategy to grow SoundHound’s presence across financial institutions
Collaborate with Product and Marketing on go-to-market strategies tailored to financial services
Build, qualify, and close deals within a rolling 12-month pipeline
Identify and use contract vehicles to enter specific accounts
Engage cross-functional resources throughout the sales cycle
Leverage data and analytics to improve sales strategy
Partner with Customer Success on account growth strategies that maximize lifetime value
Ensure alignment across Marketing, Product, and Operations on messaging, pricing, and models
Track industry trends and competitive dynamics to strengthen positioning
Represent SoundHound in trade associations and events
Lead and support RFP processes
Support contract negotiations
Qualification
Required
5+ years of proven success in B2B SaaS sales in the financial services industry
Record of selling complex software solutions to financial executives
Strong understanding of financial services industry trends, including member experience, engagement, and digital transformation
Proven history of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth
Consultative sales approach that translates client needs into solutions
Strong knowledge of Contact Center tools and processes, including CCaaS platforms (Genesys, Five9, NICE, etc.)
Demonstrated ability to prospect, build pipeline, and sell to C-level decision-makers
Ability to craft solutions aligned to business priorities
Experience managing 20+ opportunities at once
Success in team-based selling environments
Willingness to travel as necessary
Preferred
Experience with autonomic, cognitive, and analytic solutions that impact operations
