The Director, Strategic Growth will be responsible for unlocking new revenue channels and driving initiatives across media, data, and AI, while shaping high-stakes strategies and influencing senior executives.
Responsibilities
Define multi-year growth plays spanning streaming, monetization, and AI/tech innovation
Spot market shifts, competitive threats, and whitespace opportunities — move quickly to size, frame, and act
Drive pipeline generation across M&A, joint ventures, and strategic investments
Build and stress-test models with banking-level rigor to inform buy/build/partner decisions
Craft board- and C-suite-ready narratives that connect strategy to action
Lead cross-functional projects with product, data, content, and monetization teams
Own initiatives from pitch to launch, ensuring results are tracked, scaled, and communicated
Influence senior executives with clear, concise storytelling
Operate as a trusted advisor, translating complex ideas into simple, actionable paths forward
Qualification
Required
5–10 years in top-tier consulting, investment banking, private equity, or corporate strategy (media-only profiles without finance/consulting rigor will not be prioritized)
Strong track record shaping strategy and executing high-value deals or initiatives
Financial fluency — ability to build and interrogate detailed models
Confidence leading cross-functional teams across product, data, monetization, and AI/tech-driven innovation
Exceptional communication skills, with polish for senior leadership and board-level settings
Preferred
Passion for media, streaming, and emerging tech — with curiosity that cuts across industries
Operator's bias toward speed, outcomes, and clarity
Comfort thriving in ambiguity and pivoting fast in high-growth environments
