ARKA Group L.P. is an advanced technologies company serving the U.S. military, intelligence community, and commercial space industry. They are seeking summer test engineering interns who will work on the Automated Testing Framework, TestExec®, to automate data collection, analysis, and test procedures.

Responsibilities

Design tests for ground and/or space communication systems both individually and within a group environment

Work with test and measurement equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators, etc

Conduct automated and manual testing of applications controlling integrated hardware and peripheral equipment while supporting/enhancing existing software products as necessary

Automate test procedures using python scripting

Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to implement tests and validate test results

Support Test Planning by mapping requirements to Test Procedures for Factory Acceptance Tests

Use your engineering skills to analyze, design, and implement automated scripts within complex systems

Required

Currently pursuing a STEM degree

1+ semester of experience with Object Oriented development

0-1+ years of experience in a lab environment

Experience with the Linux Operating System

Experience with version control tools, such as GitLab

Preferred

1+ years of experience Python Development

Experience with the use of lab equipment, such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, power supplies, and digital multi-meters is a plus

Experience with python numpy and matplotlib libraries for data analysis
