They are seeking a Fire Alarm Designer responsible for creating accurate design documents, schematics, and layouts of fire alarm systems using AutoCAD and other design software.

Responsibilities

Design and specify detailed fire alarm and suppression systems adhering to local, state, and national codes, regulations, and standards
Attend project specific meetings
Conduct thorough reviews of architectural and engineering drawings to ensure compatibility of design
Provide expert technical advice and solutions to complex design challenges
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and client teams to ensure specifications and designs meet quality and safety standards
Manage and oversee multiple design projects from concept through completion
Obtain permits as required, including all related duties such as preparation, delivery, corrections, etc
Maintain strong working relationships with the Hiller technicians and office staff to facilitate effective communications and exceptional customer service
Stay update with latest technologies and changes in fire protection regulations
Perform field surveys as required by project needs (estimated to be
