Responsibilities
Developing and managing the organization's budgetary process, including forecasting revenue and expenses, and allocating resources effectively across departments
Preparing accurate and timely financial statements (e.g., balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement) in accordance with accounting standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS) for internal management and external stakeholders
Ensuring compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and reporting requirements imposed by regulatory authorities and government agencies
Identifying, assessing, and mitigating financial risks (e.g., market risk, credit risk, operational risk) that could impact the organization's financial stability and objectives
Monitoring and managing cash flow to ensure liquidity for day-to-day operations and strategic investments
Optimizing the management of current assets and liabilities to maintain operational efficiency and financial health
Providing analysis and financial metrics to support strategic decisions related to investments, acquisitions, and business expansion
Managing tax filings and ensuring compliance with tax laws to minimize tax liabilities and risks
Contributing to the development of long-term financial strategies aligned with the organization's goals and objectives
Coordinating external audits and ensuring compliance with audit requirements and recommendations
Implementing and managing financial systems (e.g., ERP systems, financial reporting tools) to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and enhance data integrity
Qualification
Required
Experience in budgeting and financial forecasting
Ability to prepare accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with accounting standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS)
Knowledge of financial regulations, tax laws, and reporting requirements
Experience in risk management and identifying financial risks
Skills in cash flow management and ensuring liquidity
Experience in working capital management
Ability to provide financial analysis and metrics for strategic decisions
Experience in managing tax compliance and filings
Ability to contribute to strategic planning and long-term financial strategies
Experience in coordinating external audits
Knowledge of financial systems and experience in implementing financial reporting tools
